Tracy's mother tells him that the only TV programming he was interested in as a youngster were the commercials. He would stop his running wildly through the house just long enough to fixate on them. Much later, just before Tracy graduated college with a teaching degree, radio found him. Radio helped pave the way for Tracy to get into voice acting. He would spend twenty years in broadcasting before taking up voice work full time. Tracy has two sons, two daughters-in-law, and two grandsons. He adopted two pets-an Irish Setter named Ezra and a cat named Caroline-when he married his wife Teia in December, 2019.
