Eddy Y is a remote-ready, full-time bilingual voice talent from Hong Kong, who's brought countless characters to life...and to death in his many ADR and video game sessions! Having grown up in Hong Kong, Eddy has always had a globalized view of the world. He learned English from TV and video games; studied Linguistics & Education in both Essex and Hong Kong; worked in academia, education, and tech; connected with ESL learners, classroom teachers, and corporate higher-ups... but none of those gave him as much joy as being able to tell his own story. VO gave him the platform and the permission to drop the facade of perfect expectations. He's been dedicated to this profession ever since. When not working on a project, you can often find him networking and taking classes, workshops, or private coaching to hone his skills in the booth. Outside of the booth, he enjoys hitting PRs at the gym, geeking out about the 80s & 90s, and listening to Prince!
