In the crazy USA in 2025, while the Entertainment Industry is struggling to make it with rock bottom rates and AI overtaking jobs for on-camera, print and voiceover, there’s a new danger to this industry.
This danger is not necessarily dangerous to the talent, but could affect talent if job producers or talent seekers hear that these talent have been paid by or contributed to causes that create human suffering, family separations, unlawful imprisonment, illegal kidnappings and basic human abuse.
It is one thing to contribute to a political ad. Whether an actor or a voice talent, you are helping said candidate run for an election.
When you decide to act or voice or model for a corrupt government agency that covers their faces, just like the KKK, then you are separating from us, the entertainment industry as a whole.
Endorsing 3rd world treatment of human beings is a disgrace for anyone participating in it. That is exactly what ICE is doing every day in the USA.
Immigrants come here, legally or not, to the land of the Free and home of the Brave. They want to have a life free of torture and human suffering. These people work for a living, pay taxes and many provide services you use, whether you know it or not.
If you get a request to be an actor of any sort for ICE or are asked to join the ICE workforce, please understand that endorsing human torture and suffering is what ICE does. Don’t be a racist, don’t judge people by their skin color. Don’t take a job that damages other people’s lives to line your pockets.
